The CRC's mission is to advance conservation of biological diversity. In meeting the Smithsonian Institutions mandate, CRC increases knowledge through investigations of threatened species, habitats, and communities, and disseminates knowledge through advanced studies, professional training, and public outreach.
Elephants of Africa Rescue Society is dedicated to supporting projects aimed at securing a safe habitat for wild, African animals and dedicated to providing a sanctuary for their captive cousins with a special focus on elephants. We believe that by educating the public about the problems facing both captive and wild animals we can increase public awareness and support.
The JGI advances the power of individuals to take informed and compassionate action to improve the environment of all living things.
Rob and Barbara Dicely travel to schools, events, and corporations giving lectures with their wild cats -( increased awareness and education can only help protect these animals in the wild.)
Wild Things Animal Rentals offers a variety of educational presentations which both visit your location or can be enjoyed at their facility. They are also a sanctuary for E.A.R.S. with their first "retiree" - Buffy who was bought from a Children's Zoo which had closed down.
This foundation deals with various Namibian predators, but their main focus is on cheetah, leopard and caracal.
